About Holywell Recreational Park
Holywell Recreational Park is nestled in the cool hills of The Blue Mountain range, which sits on the border of St. Andrew and Portland, with a peak that is the highest in Jamaica at over 7,000 ft. Blue Mountain has gained worldwide recognition for its delicious, rich and flavorful Blue Mountain coffee adored by tourists and locals alike.
The park offers a serene getaway from the city, with a space for lounging, grounds for camping, cabin rentals, and a walking tour along the rugged trail in the mountain ending at a scenic waterfall.
There is a Blue Mountain tour offered here which includes a bicycle tour or a hiking tour through the hills where you’ll learn about how the coffee is traditionally made as well as learn about all the different exotic fruits in Jamaica – some of which are indigenous to the mountains. This is definitely one of the scenic tours that will allow you to immerse yourself into the beauty of nature.

There’s a short bus journey from the car park to the site.
There are people there who will offer to take photos - for a tip. The staff were all friendly and it was a lovely clean spot. The manmade pools at the bottom are built beautifully and good for swimming in.
